A cinematic exploration of rain as a force shaping landscapes, ecosystems and ways of living along the Pacific coast.Developed in parallel as a documentary film and a non-linear artistic exploration, the project draws from the same fieldwork, encounters and environments. Under the title RAINFIELD, the research-creation strand unfolds through sensory images, visual experimentation and sound-based research.

Tarō Says is a feature documentary about one of North America's most extraordinary collective stories, and the unexpected journey it offers into memory, identity and the cultural imagination between Japan and Canada.Beginning with hockey's most famous fictional player, the film gradually unfolds into a larger story about imagination, history and belonging, exploring how a shared fiction can illuminate the lived experiences of Japanese Canadians across generations.
